Windows 7: Wired Internet problem...keeps dropping out

when connecton is good, I type ping yahoo.com and answer is: ping yahoo.com [72.30.38.140] with 32 bytes of data

when connection is good, I type ping 209.191.122.70 and answer is: Pinging 209.121.122.70 with 32 bytes of data

when connection is bad, I type ping yahoo.com and answer is: "Ping request could not find host yahoo.com. Please check the name and try again"

when connection is bad, I type ping 209.191.122.70 and answer is: Pinging 209.121.122.70 with 32 bytes of data

=>and the ping output does succeed succesfully I assume?
