Upnp help verizon won't be enabled

Today I tried to play MW2 multiplayer and something said strict NAT and I need to allow Nat to play multiplayer and when I put http://192.168.1.1 in my internet browser I got to my verizon thing and login and allow it and it says the same thing on the game how to I make it so I can play online?
So I got to the website to Enable it and it says to enable Upnp so I did and the game won't detect that it's open.

Upnp - Universal plug and play does not always recognize and allow certain ports.

For this you will first have to make sure your DCHP ip address is set to static on the router for that device, this will ensure you always have the same ip address on the network for that device. Second you will have to forward the correct ports to that ip addres . Heres an example : Port Forwarding Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 on the Linksys WRT54GS - PortForward.com.

What console are you using ? If it's a pc then after following these steps if you still have the same issue, disable firewall completely and restart. If this solves the issue then you know you have to also configure your firewall as well.

    Good Luck
