    Wireless not working

I've got an HP Pavilion dv7 1135ea and I turned the wireless off last night with the quicklaunch button underneath the screen. My laptop went into standby mode and when I turned it on the quicklaunch buttons will not work.

Is there a way in which I can turn wireless back on without using the quicklaunch buttons? In the device manager it says that the wireless car is enabled and working fine.

    Thanks in advance.

    Have you already rebooted?

Yeah several times plus I've done a system restore. I've tried reintalling the quiclaunch buttons with no effect.

As long as I can turn it back on through windows I'd be happy for now...

    Sorry dannet,

I don't have enough insight in your hardware nor software to make an educated diagnose.

I hope someone with more insight can help you.

Meanwhile, keep googling. Change search terms, an answers is almost always out there.

    good luck
