No browsers work aside from IE x64, Chrome gives Error 137

I am certain that my Internet problems are resultant from a virus that I had downloaded. A friend and I determined that the virus was a Sirefef variation.

Whenever I try to connect to any website in any browser aside from Internet Explorer x64 (Chrome, Firefox), the page will not load, and in Chrome, I get the following:

This webpage is not available

The webpage at <any url here> might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 137 (net::ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED): Unknown error.
Firefox does not give any error message, aside from stating that it cannot connect to the webpage.

I have run: MBAM (found some things; removed), TDSSKiller (found nothing), Microsoft Security Scanner (found some things; removed), and SUPERAntiSpyware (found nothing).

When attempting to update, MBAM displays this error:
wEu6n.jpg

I have tried "netsh winsock reset" and a few variations, and none have worked.

My firewall seems to be bugged, but I do not know how to fix it. I think that this is a result of the virus.

Sorry if this is lengthy or anything, but I'm sorta desperate to get this fixed. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the welcome!

Unfortunately, I do not have any medium that I can use for WDO (the closest thing I have to a USB drive is my iPod, and I have no idea where it is at the moment). Attempting to creat a .ISO file so that I could mount it did not work either; this is the screen it gave me:

Is there anything else I could try?

I can access all websites via their IP, regardless of the browser.

SFC did not change anything, reporting that there were no integrity violations.

What else can I try?

I updated MBAM, and it found a lot of other things, but deleting them and restarting the computer did not help. I will try to get a flash drive later today.

So I've poked around my computer some and I've found that it is impossible for me to get the firewall working correctly. Is there any way I can fix this?

I was finally able to get a hold of a flash drive and put WDO on it. I rebooted and ran a quick scan (found nothing), and then a full scan (found a couple things, LOIC, a keygen and a file I can't remember the name of [WDO identified it as "Bert.A or Bart.A or something like that]). Any other suggestions?

Thank you guys so much for the help! MBAM is running a *quick scan right now, just started a minute ago. I've ran SFC /SCANNOW at least 5 times in a row, and several times before that, restarting after each time and it finds nothing. I will do a repair install when I can; I've downloaded the necessary .ISO file and I'll put it on a flash drive when I have the chance (I have DVDs, but my disk drive is DVD-ROM).

Edit: the scan finished and found a couple registry things:

This backdoor infection (Backdoor.HMCPol.Gen) is designed to get your personal information without you knowing it. Such as passwords, banking information, email accounts, credit card information. I recommend check with those organizations and let them know what happen and change all passwords for everything.
