    Plz Plz Help Me...


    Machine 1 = Pentium4 (Windows XP)
    Machine 2 = Pentium4 (Windows XP)
    Machine 3 = Core2Quad (Windows7 Ultimate)
    i have connected All PC,s With a Simple Ethernet Switch.

    Before installing Windows 7 i was having All PC,s WIth Windows XP. And i was uncheck Simple File Shearing.... As i have installed all PC,s Windows and i am admin of this network i can access all pc,s HDD,s With SImple Command Like

    \\192.168.0.1\D$
    \\192.168.0.2\D$

    after it it ask me login and pwd and i put admin login and pwd and drive shown to me...

    Now Come to the point... as i installed windows7 on machine 3 and open an XP PC (Machine1) same as command

    \\192.168.0.2\d$
    Machine 3 ask me the login and pwd ..so i put the login and pwd but it said

    Login Failure: Unknown username or Bad Password..

    then i go to machine 2 (XP) and OPen Machine 2 (XP) it is opening with admin login and pwd...

    plz help me i am unable to open Admin Shearing Like C$ d$ E$ of windows XP drivers on windows7...
    also i told you i dont set any domain on my network and it is a simple network.
    Quick Help will be appriciated....

    Hi.

    If the machines have the same user account name but different passwords, make the passwords the same.

    Or you could do it another way too.

    Create a brand new user name with a brand new password.

    If both machines have same user name but different passwords, sharing will not work.

    i do it...But.....:(


    i have set both XP machines same user and pwd... Like

    XP MACHINE 1 = Login Administrator Pwd = okok123
    XP MACHINE 2 = Login Administrator pwd = okok123

    it is working if i open xp machine on another XP Machine

    But i open xpmachine on windows 7

    it said same login failure...

    Plz help me out
