    New router, slower connection?

I recently purchased a new lynksis N router. For some reason no matter what i do to my wireless drivers, my connection shows the router at 120 mbps but the computer cant even open a simple page such as this, it takes minutes. Any suggestions?

For wireless N to work at full speed you need to use WPA2 security with AES encryption. Also set your router to use the 802.11n "Only" setting rather than using mixed mode, this setting is only if you have no wireless G or below clients that need to connect to the router. Be sure and use the same settings when you set up the Wireless profile in Windows for this connection.

If you can't even open a web page you may want to check the DNS settings in your router to make sure you have entered a proper DNS server such as Google's DNS at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 .

If you are still having problems after making those adjustments please post a screen shot of your ipconfig/all and I will have a look at it. :)
