Hook up to printer after leaving homegroup to laptop
I personally hate the Homegroup. I would like to remove my laptop from it and was wondering if I do so will I be able to hook my computer up to my laptop?
Thanks.

If you mean by continueing to share files? Then yes, just enable network sharing. And Map Network Drive
I don't want to share anything. If my husband turns off his computer, my laptop won't print. I have to go and turn his on and go into the network and click that so that I can start to print. I just want to have the printer on only my laptop without sharing it with him and he can have it without sharing it with me. I don't really care about the other things.
I thought it was supposed to be, however I do have to hook it into the side of the desktop all in one. And to the router. It is of course not hooked up to my laptop. I really am not as stupid as I must sound right now.
Well if the printer isnt wireless all you have to do instead of turning on the computer is unplug it from your husbands computer and pug it into your laptop. I know it sounds like a hassle, but it's the only thing i can think of if you wanna leave the homegroup.
And trust me i know how you feel. lol
