    Internet Cafe Network

    Hi,

just wondering if how is the network setup of an internet cafe, is it peer to peer o client/server? Do you need an actual server and Window Server OS? I saw this layouts after i searched some forums, which of these are correct? Which of these are applicable in using internet cafe management software?

    modem>router>server>switch>desktops
    OR
    modem>router>switch>server and desktops
    OR
    modem>server>switch>desktops
    OR
    modem>switch>server and desktops

*i dont if the server here are actually a server or just a normal desktop

    Thanks

It purely depends upon the scenario and your circumstances ,

1.If you are having a small business its adviced to use a Router >switch>server OS and hardware>desktops

2.if you are owning a small nuclear network u can use Modem>Desktops

Depends on the needs u can use switch to extend the network !!

i advice you to download the

Desktop Management Software | Desktop Administration Software for Windows - ManageEngine Desktop Central

this is a amazing networking administration software to control your Internet cafe

Meanwhile you can filter the web content, filter and other exciting features Using the Cyberoam : Securing You

    Software, Hope this helps
