    Belkin router page giving "duplicate administrator" when logging off


    Hi, Earlier when i was on my routers setup page checking a setting I kept getting an error message only when trying to log off "duplicate administrator this device is managed by 0.0.0.0 currently". This kind of bothered me cause I hadn't logged on to the router page from any other computer and had just reset the router. After that I checked to see if remote administration had been enabled somehow and it was disabled. I also have a strong password and the security log showed no login attempts other than my own.


    Sorry if this seems like a stupid or pointless question but I'm just really curious as to what could cause this.

    Only thing I can think of is you didn't happen to have multiple settings pages/tabs open at the same time did ya ?

    Nope. But I THINK I logged out immedietly after clicking on the home button from a different settings page, not sure if that could have caused it. I had to go back to the previous page to get off of the duplicate admin page, and I kept getting the same error each time I tried to log off again, however it seems that it logged me off the first attempt anyway, it just wouldn't show until I tried to go to a settings page.

    Seems to have just been a minor glitch and nothing to be concerned about. I will mark this thread as solved.
