A few things come to mind here.

Are you using DHCP/automatic addressing? Run ipconfig /all from a command prompt and write down your IP address and subnet mask. Then try manually assigning the address and see if that fixes the problem.

Open the start menu and type services.msc in the search box, and click on the Services item that comes up. Check to see that DHCP service is started. Alternatively you could type "sc query dhcp" at a command prompt.

Also, what type of network hardware do you have? Can you try plugging in to a different port on your switch/router?

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 establishing a Clean Boot, checking the logs for repeat errors, utilizing System Resources to find Solutions to problems, and all others.

Post back results as we may have more steps based on your feedback.

If Bonjour is causing problems you can just disable the service in Windows services.

Type services.msc into the run box to open Windows services, find the Bonjour service and disable it.

This is typically all it takes to prevent Bonjour from causing problems with your network interface.

Or you could try uninstalling it by following the directions in the link below. Good luck on Bonjour showing up in Add/Remove programs.

If you are still having problems please post a screen shot of your ipconfig/all. :)

    abuh,
Control Panel | Programs and Features| right-click on BonJour | choose uninstall.

bonjour is the source of many problems

if your problem still exists after working thru the list from Greg, let us know.
