Samba Devices/Computers can't access Windows 7.

I have a sort of file/media server setup on one of my boxes as I need a few programs running on it that can't be run on anything else (Well XP, but I'd rather have 7 running on the system).

Well the problem is that none of my other computers can access it other then my main rig and another laptop which are both running Windows 7.

My Macbook and Android can't connect to the Server.
When I restart the Server, the Macbook and Android can connect to it for 30 minutes or so. As long as it's always running, it'll stay connected such as when I'm streaming a movie, but if it's inactive it'll cut the connection and will be unable to reconnect.
If my Macbook can't connect, my Android device can't and vice versa. I don't want to have to restart the Server every time I have to reconnect so any help?

I've tried changing the Local Security Policies, changed the network settings to not use 128bit encryption, but nothing is working.

On the Server it just has Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials.

Have you tried making adjustments to the part in bold?

Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy

Local Policies - Security Options

Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
Set to Send LM & NTLM responses only

Set the Minimum session security for NTLM SSP
Disable Require 128-bit encryption

Weird thing is, my main rig's shared folders are fine, work flawlessly so it has to be the Server so I formatted and re installed Windows 7... same problem.

You might want to make some adjustments the power saving settings on the server's network adaptor in Device Manger.

Hello, I tried uninstalling my NIC's utility program (Not the drivers) and it seemed to work... I also adjusted the power saving settings to always stay on, but after 2 days my other devices have the same problem.

The Windows based computers can connect to the Server no problem through all of this.

Any other solutions you guys have before I decide to pull the trigger and have to revert back to Windows XP?

Maybe this adjustment will keep those other machines from not being able to connect after 30 minutes.

Your choices for this registry key are 1,2 and 3.
1 = Minimize Memory Used
2 = Balance
3 = Maximize Throughput for File Sharing and Maximize Throughput for Network Applications

Be sure to set this to (3). By default it is configured to 1.

Tried what you said, but after 24 hours I tried to reconnect and still gives me an error.

I'm guessing it has to do something with verification of the other devices as my windows machines can connect without a single problem.

Oh I would like to note that if I remotely access the Server by using Remote Desktop on my Macbook, it connects fine but I can't mount the shared files to access them.
