    Limited connectivity. Please help me!

Hi! Just bought and brand new Dell Inspiron n5050. I Set everything up and managed to connect to the internet successfully, however when i restarted the computer it came up that I had limited connectivity. I did the usual trouble shooter and it told me that the 'wireless network connection doesn't have a valid IP address configuration. I have tried to google solutions, but i'm not that much of a techie and most answers confused me even more! Could somebody please help in 'Dummy' terms?

Will be so so so grateful to anybody who can help!

    xxx

    Your not getting a valid IP. (Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.134.155(Preferred)) Should be a 192.168.x.x or a 10.x.x.x
Have you reset your Modem/Router/Access Point. Unplug it wait 15 seconds or so...plug it back in.
