    Okay, so...

A couple days ago, I tried connecting my laptop to the router through a wired connection, but I was unable to. The connection is displayed as "Unidentified network No network access". I've tried numerous solutions, but none of them have worked. It's all really confusing and I would appreciate assistance in the matter. Thanks.

    Here's all the ipconfig stuff:

IPCONFIG output looks fine. DHCP is working and network driver also.

    Code:

    ping 192.168.1
    ping 74.125.132.100
    ping google.com
    Which one fails?
The first failed, but the others did not.
Of course it works!! You're connected wireless as well then! The problem is only if connected wired... isn't it?

    Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.154.197 that's the problem

Yep. I need a wired connection for some emulator stuff, no idea why. But anyway, what would I do to resolve this 1pv4 address problem?

Are you sure cable is fine? routerport is fine? Temporary disconnect the network cable from sick computer and connect cable to another computer. Everything works fine then?

Wow. It actually was the cable. Even though I had just bought a new one. Well, thanks anyway. Sorry if I wasted your time.
