I have ran into similar situations with several drivers for my devices such as printers etc.. After talking to the tech support for a while they finally told me to install the vista drivers under compatibility mode It is always an option.

Nope, compatibility mode doesn't work either. I've tried comp. mode for xp (sp2 and sp3) and for vista also and when using xp comp. mode for xp network address appears on advanced option, when I try to change mac address wireless adapter is disabled and then enabled but the mac itself remains the same-default one. Looks like I'm out of options for now. Will keep you posted if anything pops out, peace :)
