Torrents are stopping my Internet connections

This was happened with me before 2 weeks, when I opened a Torrent program like utorrent, bittorrent,, the internet connection completely stop (Connection icon turned to yellow triangle) and its not back to normal until I reboot both my PC and router.

Methods I tried to solve my problem:
Disable firewalls, add port forwarding in the router, formatting my computer, changing the Internet company!! , I googled my problem (no solutions)

non of those previous methods was useful.
Please help me with my issue.

How are you connecting to internet? Though a NAT router? Or just directly plugin a modem to your computer?

Torrents are know for bring some cheap network devices to their knees, as they spawn multiple simultaneous connections to many differents hosts. Try to limit the upload/download speed on the torrent client to something lower, and check if it goes well.

I'm directly connected with the router, and I lowered my speed to 100kb/s
when I start uTorrent after 1-2 min the problem happen.

Try to limit the number of global simultaneous concurrent connections too. Reset router, computer and everything before trying also.

Try to limit the number of seed connections per torrent too if you tried reducing the speed and the global connections limit.

    Hi there
some places will limit your access to the Internet if you attempt to access certain sites.
Never been where you are so I can't say -- but if you must use these sorts of services then don't access them directly.

You'll need to google on how to do this -- but although "Torrenting" itself isn't illegal in most places it depends on what you are uploading / downloading. I'd suggest anyway you don't get involved with this sort of activity --- there are loads of law enforcement agencies now who have excellent methods of checking who is doing what on some of these sites.

    Cheers
