    Internet Connection issues

My roommate just switched over to an internet router that requires a password. I typed in the password, and it achieves "Limited Connectivity." After running the diagnostics originally, it said that I had an IP address error. After trying a few of the ideas posted on other forums, it now says that windows can't find a solution to the problem. My XP laptop and phone can connect, but not my Windows 7 desktop. I attached a JPG of my ipconfig as suggested by others. I know this question has been asked 1.23 million times, but I can't find anything that works. Help?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Is W7 managing the connection or do you have some OEM software like Dell connection manager or Intel's tool?

Have you tried clearing out any previous entry that you had for this connection.

I think W7 is managing the connection. I never installed anything else, and the computer was built on CyperPowerPC. I having tried clearing out a previous entry. How do you do that? I feel like that might work because my connection was fine before we set a password.
    Thanks!

I just deleted all the previous profiles and re-setup the desired network, and it works now! Thanks for the inspiration to look at the older profiles. I don't know exactly what the problem was, but it works now. Thanks again!
