slow file transfer from my windows home server with Nor

hello I'm new here. So i have a problem with this one. Every time i copy a File from my computer to flash drive the transfer rate is to slow. my specs: OS:windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 32bit Intel Core Duo CPU E7500 @2.93GHz 2gig of ram if anyone knows how to fix this Please Help me

I have just set up my network again which I used to have on my XP pc and found the file transfer to my NAS to be very slow indeed. It took over 10 minutes to transfer just a 1GB file. Is there a way to speed it up ? The NAS is connected via wifi. My router is a Billion Bi-Pac 7402NX.
