    Ports are no longer open

I've been hosting servers on various videogames over the year to play with my friends online, recently I tried a game which worked about a month or so ago (mount and blade: warband, I also tried a few others afterwards) but nobody could connect, I checked everything and it should have been working fine but then I looked at various port checking websites and for some reason none of the ports are open anymore.

I've tried changing the port settings, resetting the router and disabling my firewall and none of them seem to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Could be your ISP blocking those ports so none of there customers can host Game Servers. Hosting Servers is a No No on some home Residential accounts Check with your ISP.

I'll have a check with them then, seems a bit strange of them to stop me from doing it because I've been doing it on and off for over a year now

Not strange at all. That is if it is your ISP that is blocking those ports. You and others that are running those Game servers, your probably not the only one that does this, are taking up a lot of bandwidth on their network that others are paying for. It just takes them time to find out who is running servers and then block those ports for their connection.

That is if it is your ISP.

Check the Terms of Use from your ISP. I bet is state that you can't run Servers on a Home connection.

I haven't been able to call them yet I'll have to do that tomorrow, but I checked their TOS and it says nothing about hosting a server
