    SSO not working

    Hi all,

Really hope someone can help me out on the following problem which bothering me for a fews month already.

Our network currently replaced a edge router which is connecting to a Checkpoint firewall. After the replacement, the SSO function is completetly not working. When using the IE to access my own company intranet, it prompts me for the intranet username and pw whenever I close the IE and re-open it. I find the credential is saved on the credential manager already. However, the prompt just keeps showing whenever I launch the IE. Most of the users under that router having the same issue.

Moreover, the problem is not confined in the IE. It is happening on the outlook as well. I would really like to know
    1) Why the credentail manger is not working?
    2) What is the mechanism behind?
    3) Is it possible the problem caused by the firewall and the router? If yes, what should I do on them to make the window credential manager to work?

More then likely not as you need to talk to the IT department at your place of work. Maybe they have set it up this way for a reason. You think? If they haven't then they are the only one that can change it. Also they are the ones to talk to about fixing a problem with the computers that are connected through that Edge Router. If everyone is having the same problem it is Not a computer problem.

The way some sites work create custom sessions each time you log in, with unique addresses and data. Do you know what platform your intranet site is running off? A good example of this non-working credential problem is when using logmein in chrome- the Java plugin will ask you if you'd like to give logmein permission EVERY single time you start a session, even on and to the same computer. You've got to go into content privacy settings and allow all requests from the parent site to be allowed. This is obviously a little different than your credentials problem, but it may be related.

Thank you so much for the answers.

My intranet platform is running on the Windows 2008 server with Active directory on.

I think it is highly likely the firewall or the edge router blocked the authentication, but i dont really what service or port I should check it.

Is there anyone know what is the service or port the Window credential manager using?

    Thanks again

I tried goodgle, it is no problem.

However, I think it is google saved my laptop IP and credential on their servers instead of using my windows credential manager to SSO. There is no record for the goolgle in the WCM.
