i recently upgraded from xp 32 bit to win7 64 bit

after upgrade i am unable to see a wired connection in network connections ...

i have tested the cable by connecting it to a laptop with vista and it works fine ,,,

i have now had to connect another wireless router to the cable and connect wireless

i reall want to be wired connect as i know i get a much better connection speed gor gaming ...

Check Device Manager to see if you have an error icon next to network adapter. You may need an updated driver for it.

Your motherboard / system will likely have an individual driver required for the network adapter. You will need to source this from the manufacturer's website.

Under special circumstances you may need a particular version of the driver.
