Thanks, I have noted your MAC address to see if it does actually change; when do you notice that your MAC address has 'changed'?

Are you sure that it's not your IP address which is changing, which is a completely normal process when you have DHCP enabled.

The MAC address is the letter/number combination that says "Physical Address". You may be thinking of your IP address, like BlueRobot said.

Please screenshot using the output of the same ipconfig /all command after you have rebooted your computer or when you believe the MAC address has changed.

Who was this tech? Do you they run their own business? Work within a computer retail store?

I think you have showed me a simple method to see If what tech was telling me was a fact or just not willing to admit the real truth. I needed to know from unbiased source. I followed your advice & did a ipconfig /all, rebooted, re-checked ipconfig /all. physical address did not change.

Your MAC address is not changing, and it never should; the IP address was most probably changing and that is a completely normal process which you do not need to worry about.

From what you have told us, there are no problems with your computer.
