What are all these connections in Netstat?
I typed in netstat and got all these connections, thing is though I don't know why all those ports are open, especially the 50,000 and up.

Those are normally ports your PC opens when its connecting to someone else (web browsing).
How it works.
You view google.com. You're connection to google.com on port 80. But google.com has to reply back to you. To do that your pc needs to be listening for a connection.
YOU to google = port 80
Google to you = port 55593 (does not have to be this exactly) they are called ephemeral ports.
I hope this make since I'm trying to be as non technical as possible.
