WiFi hotspot spash pages not loading

    Having a situation when traveling
If I go to a hotel or airport, and the wifi has a splash page that needs to load to accept terms ot enter room number, etc. The splash page will not load.

    - Tried IE, Firefox and Chrome
    - Tried a "repair" on the wifi adapter
    - disable and re-enable adapter
    - Checked IPv4 properties to ensure everything was on automatic
    - disabled IPv6
    - CMD Prompt as administrator:
    - ipconfig /release
    - ipconfig /renew
    - ipconfig /flushdns
    - ipconfig /registerdns
    - netsh winsock reset
    - netsh int ipv4 reset
    - Internet Option in IE, advanced tab, clicked "Reset"
    - Internet Options, connections, checked and ensure that only automatic detect settings was selected
    - hosts file is clean
    - only MSE for antivirus, no other av/firewall software
    - windows firewall disabled
    - uninstalled ethernet and wifi adapter and reinstalled

There is probably more I've done just can't remember trying to fix this.

You can even hardwire into the hotel network, and the splash page will not load, so its not wifi specific. Its not just one hotel, its every hotel, airport, cafe wifi that uses a unsecured network with a splash screen for authentication.

If its secured, connect no problem.

Other than a wipe and reload, I'm at my wits end as to what it could be, any ideas?

    Thanks

Well, I may be new here, but here's an option.

Try when you get to the hotel, use a smartphone or laptop in order to log on to the wifi there. Pull the URL from there, and put it into Chrome/FireFox/IE.

And is this on a laptop? Or is this on the desktop described on your specs?
