Windows 7: Odd problem with wireless connection...

Win 7 64bit

Exact same problem with Windows 7. The wireless card does not see any wireless networks. In fact, I cannot enable it [FN + F2] as the red X stays on. How can I download the driver being discussed? I tried following the links, but after ending up at the site and installing the product, there is no driver to download. Help!

i recently bought a vaio laptop vpc-f11dgx with windows7 64 bit
i could connect with it to the routers in my university but unfortunately after a few days it didnt work
it could connect like the past but it couldnt transfer data
i tried to set up the 32 bit windows but drivers of my laptop couldnt work on it
it happens to some of my friends that use 64bit but not others who use 32bit.
what is wrong with my computer?
what can i do?
i tried another 64bit windows but it was the same.
