    DNS error


    I don't know what I'm doing, so if this is a repeat pst - I'm sorry

    After some extensive digging around this DNS problem is apparently unique to your modem. The DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : domain.actdsltmp and Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : domain.actdsltmp from your ipconfig are a symptom of the problem created by your modem.

    In general you should be calling your ISP to fix this problem although you can do it yourself by clicking on the first link below. :)

    This only seems to affect Qwest users using the gt701, and that's because the Actiontec modem supplied by Qwest has different firmware than the standard Actiontec.
