Connection Failed: Error Code 23 - Raidcall

(I was going to post this in the software section, but I assumed since it pertains to the network portion of the application and that I can connect through a VPN, that the problem is LAN Network oriented)

Hello, I recently installed the software Raidcall (RaidCall-100% FREE Group Communication Software- IM, Group Communication and Voice Chat) which is a program designed to be a cross between Skype and Ventrilo. I avidly registered and the process went smoothly. That was all until I came up to login screen where after entering my information, I got the following error:

!! Connection Failed. please try again later (Error code:23).

Does this have something to do with Cyclic Redundancy Checking? That's the only information I could come up with. I've done as much research as I can think of, sent them an email with lots of information (no response as to the answer yet), and also asked on their forums but no dice.

Background information (I can provide more if needed)
    - On a University Campus ( Technical Information | IT | Indiana Wesleyan University )
-I"m connected directly through to their wall. I"ve also tried swapping out my own cables to no avail.
    - Have done an Error Checking Check for both drives (for CYC relation - which I think it may be the culprit (I"m not tech savy though hence my forum post)
    - I CAN connect to it through a VPN (Hotshield) - obviously I don't want to have this be my way of connecting through it because I want to use Raidcall while playing (World of Warcraft) and it gives me horrible latency.
    - I've called my IT support here at school, and they didn't think it would be something on their end. Although the guy on the other end did not sound intelligible at all.

Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it! :)

    raid call

I'm having the same problems as are others in my guild. Error 23 on compatibility test. It automatically loads with password/username so that isnt the issue. The only thing i can think of is it may be the latest update of windows that raidcall cant cope with?

I have reinstalled raidcall restarted the pc and have the same error. Besides dumping raidcall are there any suggested fixes out there.

ps I sent a bug report and email but no reply.

I checked both of the checkmarks and it worked. I don't know if I just got lucky or if this program is just vary glitchy.

I just saw this post because I got the error the other day. What I did was take off auto login and retyped my credentials and it worked. Hope that might help someone else.

I had this issue before and it somehow fixed itself after few days. Now it came back and I have no idea how to fix it. Tried checking/unchecking the remember me boxes, rewriting my login info, restarting pc, disconnecting/reconnecting to the internet and without any progress.
The first time I had this, it worked after simply checking/unchecking the boxes and logging again. The first time that I had this and couldn't solve it was after I have had done some windows updates.
