INTEL CENTRINO ADVANCED 6200N and it will not connect

I have a Sony Vaio vpceb24fx with intel core i3 with intel Centrino advanced 6200N wifi and it will not connect to any wifi. I have reinstalled the drivers, Disabled and Enabled the connection and a few other small checks people have offered and nothing has worked. I have updated windows and all drivers and i still can not get it to work. I am at a college with a network that requires your school ID and Password. When I choose the network it allows me to put my id and password in and then it goes through and the windows troubleshooter comes up. It says windows cannot identify the problem.

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

Can you please post an ipconfig /all output?
    http://jeuelsdomeblog.wordpress.com/...g-all-command/

Also, what type of security software do you have installed?

Thanks for the info that you have provided.

Please check your browser if you are using any Proxy setting and remove if it's found.

Also, can you boot to Safe Mode with Networking? Restart your computer continue tapping F8 then select this option and see if you're able to connect.

Yes, I must have overlooked it.....

Your output is showing 'Media Disconnected' is this the issue? You can't connect at all?
Have you tried to remove all the wireless profiles then try to reconnect to the SSID (wireless network)?

Also, make sure that your wireless switch or button from your laptop is turned on. Another way of turning it is by using the FN key + F12 or F2 (depending on the manufacturer mine is FN+F12) to enable wireless from your laptop.

Verify that the WLAN AutoConfig service is Started. Click on Start and type msconfig, click on Services Tab then locate this service.

I cleared the wireless profiles out and its still not kicking in. Im using wifi through my galaxy phone and tethered it to my comp so i know its something in the computer. The intel connection tools is on also
Under the system config i found that the intel sample collector is stopped, also i found "wireless PAN DHCP server" stopped and it has an unknown publisher. Does this help? If I uninstall the Intel wireless can I reinstall it and it still work with the wireless card or is that dangerous?

If you are using a wireless utility manager you may either keep it or use the Windows native which is the WLAN AutoConfig. You may uninstall the Intel Wi-Fi adapter from Device Manager then reinstall it back. Usually when you reboot your computer it will auto install your driver but it's also good to download the latest driver from Intel site.

When I use the intel proset/wireless tool and do a diagnostic test, it fails the "association test" its says Failed no associations. Does this mean anything? I have reset everything to original specs. Also If i reinstalled windows could that fix it?
