Win7-Win7 printer sharing; connect to printer access denied

    What's interesting is that I've never needed to create another account with the same user name and password in order to get printers or anything else working on my network.

    I'm not sure why this is required sometimes but it seems to work.

    Yeah I'm not exactly sure why the other computer was not authenticating with the everyone permissions.

    Maybe it had something to do with the Op's statement: I think it has something to do with the computer the printer is attached to, it had all of its services disabled,

    What services should I have had him check?

    I don't know about printer services. Just the print spooler.
