Try Fn+F9 (the key with triangle)
You can only use this function after installing Windows XP/

Windows Vista/Windows 7 and installing the
    Easy Display Manager
program and the wireless LAN driver with the

    system software
    media disk
    .

What happens exactly if you press Fn+F9 ? Do you see something on screen?

Fn+F9 doesn't work at all?? nothing on screen.. third light not changing...wirless still working?

If the wireless button is not being touched after it is switched on and then the wireless adapter is disapearing from device manager and drivers have been updated from computer manufacturer's website then it is possibly a hardware issue.

Can you post an ipconfig /all for review when connected to the wireless.

I've also installed easy display manager as well. But there is only the combination Fn+F9 is not working, while the others are normal (Fn+F6 to active sound, Fn+F10 to turn on/off numlock, etc...). And as I have said before, the wireless light below the touchpad is always on (blue light).

Here is the ipconfig /all after the wireless network is detected.

" Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection" wasn't in the output when wireless wasn't working. Wireless adapter wasn't in device manager as well. Computer simply didn't see the adapter at all

Yes, that's right. As soon as the wireless adapter was in the device manager, the wifi signal was detected.

Now I just want to know that if it is a hardware issue or not? Since this problem happened 3 times lately, and someone told me that it is because the hardware is unstable.

And about the F9 key, it works normally on MS Word.

Fn+F9 not working...whio cares (unless it's related to another problem).

If wireless not working (totally disappeard from device manager):
    • shutdown, power off completely. Remove battery from laptop.
    • wait 2 minutes. Put battery back in. power on. wireless is working again?
    • try System Restore so go back in time when it was still working. wireless works again?
The problem does only appear on booting up the machine? Or also if you are already browsing the internet wirelessly?
