Jeez alright! In the interest of tidiness I thought it best to keep identical issues in the same thread. Rude

If anyone would be nice enough to offer some help I am up for some remote connecting (I got no skeletons to hide!) and can post txt documents with my ipconfig /all data for when my wifi connection is working and when it has not been working (and the same for when I am in work!)

With all due respect, please do not hijack my thread just because we have a similar issue. Please start another thread for YOUR problem. Thanks.
Hi sorry not been back to you been busy at work.

Please ensure the trendnet is set in repeater mode.

Do a survey and choose the main router for your AP and click connect and reboot when prompted.

Go to your wireless settings and ensure:

SSID matches your main router's SSID.
Encryption level matches your main routers level i.e if main router is set to use WPA2 AES set trendnet to the same.
Set channel to the same as on main AP.
Network Key to match key set on main router.

    Re-boot router.

Placement of trendnet is important place it halfway between your main router(AP) and your wireless devices you wish to boost the wireless signals to.

Please let us know how it goes.

I'm sorry, but can you please expand on this? There do not seem to be any "modes" to select from. You simply plug in the range extender, his the WPS connect button on the router and then the WPS connect button on the range extender and it automatically connects. How do you select "repeater mode?"

I have not heard this before. What do you mean by a survey and my AP?

Hi it seems your repeater is a dedicated repeater no need to choose repeater now WPS is not always the best can be flaky sometimes.

If you log in to your repeaters ip address use an ethernet from computer to repeater under Lan network settings set it to static ip and change it's ip address to an ip address within the same subnet of your main router(AP) but outside of the main routers DHCP scope click apply or save a re-boot may be required make a note of the new ip address you assign.

Re-login to your repeater and under wireless their will be a site survey button or search button click on it to bring up a list of AP's and choose your Main router's SSID and click to connect. A reboot maybe neccessary.

Then you have to configure all the wireless settings i gave you in a earlier post below:

SSID matches your main router's SSID.
Encryption level matches your main routers level i.e if main router is set to use WPA2 AES set trendnet to the same.
Set channel to the same as on main AP.
Network Key to match key set on main router.
    Re-boot the router.

On the computer wishing to connect thru the router please go to start>control panel>network and sharing centre>change adapter settings>right click Wireless Network Connection>properties>Internet Protocol Version(TCPIPv4)>properties>advanced under default gateway click add and enter the ip address of the repeater click ok.

    Restart pc.

    Now check connectivity please.
