Well according to the ipconfig it's enabled and also has a valid IP address.

For some reason certain virtual machines and VPN's like Hamachi will confuse Windows on which connection it should be using.

Yes I would go with the uninstall and see if that fixes the problem.

The laptops and the tablet connect instantly. But the desktop often needs appr. 2 minutes to connect and sometimes it comes back with "No IP address". I have tried static and dynamic IP address settings in the router - same result.
Do you have a sharing problem or a connection to the internet problem with the desktop? I take it that it's the latter. It would be a pain unless you have an adequately long Ethernet cable, but you could try connecting the desktop directly to the modem to see what happens.

That's a good idea. The modem is sitting directly under the the router. So there is no problem with cable length. I'll try that later . It is a little bit difficult to get behind the modem/router because I have very close quarters there.

I think the problem is solved. Since I deleted virtual box and it's network entry, thing work smoothly.

Yep, I kinda figured that would do it. Been there done that, lucky I asked for the ipconfig.

It's funny how obvious the answer is once the question has been answered. But per your first post, no clue as to what the problem might be.
