Can not acces some sites/IE automatically uses work offline

So...I've tried entering facebook, but it keeps loading, and then it asks me to choose a connection.
I'm using wireless, and that proves to be an annoyance.
Now,facebook doesn't work, some sites don't work,a few applications don't work(all say that i'm not connected to the internet),and the browser uses work offline as a defaul.
    It's starting to get annoying.
It's been doing this since I've connected my PC to the internet cable(after umplugging it from the router).
    I'll post a pic.
    Thanks in advance.

facebook seems to be having server issues today.
Forums all over the net are blowing up with complaints.
I can't access it from either of my systems either. It will come up on my smartphone though. (and only using 4g, not through wifi)

Last time this happened it lasted about 2 hours and resolved itself.

Here's a google search for the last hour on facebook server not found.

as you can see it's everyone not just you.

update - it appears to be coming back online now, if you still have a problem 30 minutes or so from now we may need to actually look at things.
