Yep all FN key combinations do not work

Also have had it confirmed FN & F8 is the correct key combinations, the people that confirmed it also have the same laptop as me.

    What a strange issue!

This issue has now been solved :)

I installed the Value Added Package followed by the Flash Cards Support Utility.

    That did nothing.

I uninstalled both of the programs and restarted the laptop and all of a sudden it worked :O

FN keys now work so to turn on my Wi-Fi I had to press FN & F8, strange problem!

You can have all the drivers installed correctly but if your laptop has WiFi turned off then you need to enable this of which I knew but my problem was that the function keys would not work at all. Doing the method I suggested above seemed to resolve this issue.

A special thanks to all of you that suggested solutions to help me fix this issue.
