Internet browsing 'disabled' even with an internet connection.

Just today, I encountered a weird bug.

I have a proper internet connection, but suddenly, all my internet browsers will fail to load any webpage.

Whenever I click on any link or type into the search bar, nothing happens.

This occurs for all browsers. ( Firefox, Chrome, IE )

I tried the ping command using cmd, it worked. That adds on to the mystery..

Error message shown by IE : Internet browsing 'disabled' even with an internet connection.-net-error-2.png

If resetting the router doesn't work then try running the following two commands in bold, type or copy paste the commands one at a time into an elevated command prompt, hit enter after each one then reboot your machine.

netsh winsock reset catalog (reset winsock entries)

netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (reset TCP/IP stack)
