Let me know if all of this is correct.

    • Each PC in a VLAN can ping each other,
    • Each PC in a different VLAN can not ping each other.
(If you place a PC in 2 VLAN'S can they communicate with each VLAN)
    • No PC can access the Firewall through the switch.

Can the firewall see any of the PC's connected to the switch?

When you take the firewall out of the equation can the PC's see the router and the router see the PC's through the switch?

We were playing around with dell switches (i know they're not netgear). and trucking was a pain in the ... I think without you answering any of these questions your best bet is going to be to remove one of the switches and play with the configuration in a test environment.

Yes every PC in the Vlan can ping.

Yes Each PC in a different Vlan cannot ping each other.

PC's can access the firewall through the switch.

Yes the PC's work without the firewall.

I have factory default one switch and compared it with the current one. Apart from the Vlan's and active ports all the settings are the same.

Does the Manage switch plug directly into the Firewall, Or does it go through another switch first?.

No 2 pcs on different vlan's cannot ping each other.. Which is the point of VLans...

I do have access to logs on both. Nothing is been shown error wise.

Yes the managed switch is directly into the firewall.
