OK sorry I missed it. I will do the reinstall and hopefully, won't have to bother you again. Thank you all for your patience and perseverance.
I have a z585 running windows 8. It has had the same problem all day but I think I found a solution that will work for both of us. First you need to uninstall the Broadcom wireless adapter from the add remove programs. Make sure that you are only removing the program and not the driver. Then after you uninstall the program go to your power settings and go to advanced power settings. Scroll Down to wireless adapter and from the drop down menu make sure that it is set to maximum performance. That should take care of your issue.
