    DLNA frozen / stuttering

I am trying to get my DLNA-enabled TV to wirelessly play video files stored on my Win 7 computer.

    Two problems:

    1) The file list displayed on the TV freezes so you can't scroll through it.

You have to wait three minutes or so, then scroll to the next item, wait three minutes, scroll to the next item, wait three minutes, scroll.

    2) Playback mostly stutters and freezes, and barely plays at all.

The thing is, a few weeks ago everything was working just fine.

The computer itself is not running slow at all.

It looks like DLNA is an orphan topic here. Any idea on where else to go?
I have an identical problem - jerky playback on videos from my Windows 7 to my Sony MediaPlayer.
I've searched the web and here - and gotten zip.
    Anyone?

My suspicion is that I do not have enough horsepower in the processor.
Is there any way around that? Can I stop things or free up things?
I have a Compaq / HP - AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor 2.70 GHz and 3 Gig of Ram.
OS is Windows 7 64 bit. home premium - up to date with SP1.

OK - no thanks to you folks - but I solved this. I got a cheap but good ethernet cable at wifi and ran it to the box - a couple of holes in floors and walls. Works slick. No stagger, ever, even when recording another show.

    Bye.
