Application autosetting DNS IP in NIC configuration

I have a network with a windows 2008 domain controller and exchange 2010 server with a windows 7 developer [W7DEV] desktop each with static IP assigned. My domain is connected to Comcast and is assigned a static IP. Recently, my W7DEV NIC was updated with the DNS1 and DNS2 from Comcast that causes my Outlook to fail to connect to my exchange server. Looking at ipconfig /displaydns shows the exchange server with the Comcast IP instead of my local network server IP. I removed the Comcast DNS IP addresses, but when I close the dialog, it reverts back to displaying the Comcast DNS1 and DNS2. I see in the registry that the IP addresses are listed for the NIC, and deleting them doesn't remove them.

I recently installed iTunes to view a video, and thought it might be the problem, so I uninstalled it without any resolution. I checked for restore points, but the only ones showing are related to software upgrades.

How can I determine from the registry which applications are controlling the assignment of IP addresses to the NIC in W7DEV? Since this problem happened suddenly, I suspect a virus or other intrusion, but I do have Microsoft Threat Management Gateway installed separating my network from Comcast, and I do have Microsoft essentials, AVG 2013 and WiseFixer on W7DEV.

Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you.

I resolved the problem using msconfig.
