Server sharing problems

I have windows home server 2011 and im having trouble sharing a folder with my windows 7 machine, whenever i go to //SERVER/Media it wont connect, it says //SERVER is not accessible. I've tried changing the permissions to full control as well

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Have you tried the IP address. There could be a problem with DNS or network discovery.

Also its \\name-IP. Not //name-IP
