File share without having to enter password

Now I'm wasting time trying to transfer a file from my older win7 laptop to my new win7 desktop. I can send whatever I want from the newer to the older but when I try to look into the newer machine from the older it wants a username and password????? I can't find anywhere in the newer machine that requires me to set up a username and password so have no clue on this one. What a PITA.

Update: well, I figured that one out. Seems to get into the desktop from this laptop I have to have a password on my user account in the desktop, which means that every time I boot it up I have to type in a password, which I DON'T want to have to do. Can I set it up to be accessible on my little 2-machine network without this password requirement? The fewer mouse clicks and keystrokes I have to make the better in my book.

Well, that one seemed to work. Thank you very much; that will save my arthritic hands a lot of keystrokes and my heart a lot of 'burn'......
