Ok... find and install the latest drivers for your wireless card... just a quick question... is this your connection, or are you "sharing" it with someone??

I am sharing it with 1 computer but also when I tried yesterday while the other computer was off I got the same results. I'll get to the drivers.

Navigate to your device manager, uninstall the drivers for your wireless card, reinstall the new drivers... reboot and retest...

I upgraded to windows 7 and my d/l speed has been terrible since. I was running the same driver the same everything on windows xp and it worked great and on windows 7 it doesn't now I realized after this night that the d/l speed goes up and down sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad it's not steady on my normal spped. the thing is I'm running another computer at the same time and there it's always fast and good.and it runs XP
