How about the rest of the items in the Note and Warning boxes at the top of the tutorial?

Ok. Go ahead and run the Homegroup troubleshooter to see if it may be able to detect, repair, or report any issues found.

Checked troubleshooting, no luck. Device Names are different. I went into my router and checked that both computers are connected to the same router. The first 3 sets of numbers in IP address are the same the last one differs.

If the laptop is using a wireless connection, then double check your router settings to make sure that PCs connected through the router are able to see each other like in step 3 below.

What brand and model number is your router? I'll see if I may be able to help find this setting for it.

If the bottom screenshot is what you got, then that means you are joined to the homegroup.

If you open File Explorer and expand Homegroup in the left navigation pane, do you see the other PC?
