    Bad browsing, great downloads

Currently I'm supposed to get 2 Mbps download speed. I get full 2Mbps while I'm downloading anything, or while watching YouTube videos. I am monitoring my speeds in realtime using Net Speed Monitor that sits as a toolbar in the taskbar.

Problem starts when I'm browsing. I use Google Chrome. Tried FF, IE, same results. While browsing, down speeds hardly go above 30 KBps. For example, let's say I'm viewing an image attachment posted somewhere on this forum. The image downloads inside the browser at not more than 30 KBps. Browsing through pages in incredibly slow.

Also tried with Google DNS, doesn't help anyway.

Can anybody help? Any registry tweaks? I have heard something about MTU packets (something like that, don't remember).

Never mind, it was a problem with my ISP.
