Trust me, I'm checking that every 10 minutes.
I can't understand how can he steal your password if he can only view your desktop.
I mean, all the password fields you normally type in are not showing your password on the screen, but only black dots, right ?
I'm only guessing he is viewing my desktop from what he said.
To be honest, I think your guessing might be manifesting itself as paranoia.
If you have remote connection turned off, and a secure router, then I think you have very little to worry about.
Sorry for the late reply. It may be paranoia but it's very unlikely because he hinted/described certain situations perfectly. There has to be other ways other than the official Microsoft Remote Desktop application, right? And I don't think my router is too secure if it has all ports open by default. There isn't even a control panel for it since its through USB.
It says
"THE EQUIPMENT AT THE TARGET IP ADDRESS
DID NOT RESPOND TO OUR UPnP PROBES!"
May I just add just because RDP is turned off does not mean anything currently studying security and if someone is REALLY trying to get in the can bypass all this. Doesn't make a difference about RDP. But they would have to go to a lot of effort to do this and in my opinion if they really want something of this person to go to all this bother. It can be done
