    Internet Service Provier problem?

Long story short. It was raining outside, so my internet was getting slow. I turned off the router, but the next time I turned it on... it requested my username and password. (Y'know, the one given by my internet provider). I sometimes CAN access the internet through Google Chrome (as of right now), but why did it request my username and password? Am I at a risk of getting hacked or something? I mean, I've turned it off and on a million times and this never used to happen before. Should I worry about anything...?

I really don't know the answer to your question but if it was my computer I would call my ISP and ask for help and information.

The only time it should ask you for that is when YOU try to log into it.

Usually by entering 192.168.1.1 etc. in your browser.
