enable telnet client Windows 7 - Enable Telnet | FettesPS
    After that open command prompt
    Code:
    telnet facebook.com 80
Now enter some random characters. What happens?
I did that, when typing randomly it shows the HTML code of the page inside CMD window. is this ok?
Did you do that when facebook.com wasn't reachable in any browser? It responds by sending you html code.... so it responds and is alive and reachable. You used telnet as sort of mini browser

Yes I did that when facebook wasn't available in any browser.
Again after restart things seem to work. But I did that already multiple times when I was having the problem and it did nothing !!

Like I said, this install is quite new. I have had a problem with adobe's website about two weeks ago, and I completely reinstalled windows 7.
It can be any other website not just facebook.

Hmmm I get the problem again.

Interesting, Here is exactly what I did to trigger the problem
-I have facebook.com open in firefox, everything loads right
-I open IE 9 and try to open facebook.com, it won't load
-Closed IE, back to firefox, facebook won't load (tried chrome too)

Kaspersky is running and windows firewall is ON, I am still connected to the internet as I can open and use youtube.

    any clue on this?

So if you open facebook.com in firefox.... facebook isn't loadable in chrome and IE9. Even when going back to firefox. Correct?

Try to load in IE first and then chrome.... (so not in firefox at all). Same problem?

Can you prove firefox is the culprit?

    1. reboot machine for fresh start
    2. browse in firefox to facebook.com
    3. browse in IE9 to facebook.com (doesn't load...correct?)
    4. browse in IE9 to adobe.com (does it load? It had errors as well as far I can remember)
    5. browse in IE9 to msn.com (does it load? It had errors as well as far I can remember)
    6. browse in IE9 to other normal site. Does it load?

I can't do that now as I can't open facebook.com, even after rebooting. But it's exactly what I did before:
    - facebook.com open in firefox (IE9 is not running nor does chrome)
    - Started IE9 (firefox is still running), it won't load facebook.com.
    - No in all browsers, facebook.com, adobe.com, msn.com, 7sur7.be and probably many other won't load, even after a reboot.

Also, when I say it won't load, I mean ll I see is a blank page without any error or not found messages; you can check the attached image.

I thought you did know what triggers this strange thing. But you didn't... it still doesn't work after reboot.
