workgroup issue

    workgroup issue


    I have two same configuration dell desktops
    computer name system1 and system2
    same os win 7 ultimate
    ip address is obtain automatically.
    I create a homegroup in system1 and change the password abc123456
    then i go to system2 in homegroup window
    there is no joining option that also ask to create a homegroup.
    date and time is same
    i ping two systems it is ok. there was a reply came.
    what can i do now

    This is most likely because you tried to change the Homegroup password which doesn't work.

    You need to use the password that comes up when you create the Homegroup, there is no option to change this password, it must be used as is. :)
