We see a lot of blue screen issues with both programs . For a cd emulated cd try magicISO.

They have drivers that cause BSODs .

Good . Sometimes the driver removes itself with the uninstall .

Reason I had you use AdwCleaner is due to having adware called conduit .

How's the PC running now ? Can you go to sleep and not get disconnected on wake up ?

That is just crazy because I am super diligent about this stuff. I use Malware Bytes and Spybot.

YES!! It works!! You are seriously amazing, sir. I never thought adware would be doing that?

    Hi Jen

You're welcome . Glad that fixed your issue . I didn't see any Spybot software installed . Another piece of software that does more harm than good .

    Another recommendation :

    Create Recovery Disc
Write down the product key under neath the laptop or the side of the desktop and keep in a safe place . Those stickers do get worn out and you won't be able to see the key if you plan to do a clean install in the future .

    Thank you for the suggestion.

So Malware Bytes is okay but I should uninstall Spybot?
