    svchost exe?

    Hi,

I have problem with WiFi connection? It seems, tho I am not 100% sure that when I switch on from hibernation my laptop runs svchost.exe and I cannot get a connection until it stops?
Well, the connection between modem and laptop is there but not to the NET??
I have checked task manager and this list is now there? Is this normal to have so many listings?

    Hi jonesnewton

Lets take a look at something .

    Please run the program below

    Click on Download Now button

Right-click the DDS icon choose Run as administrator to run the tool.

Place a check next to attact.txt and click Start . When done, DDS will open two logs
    DDS.txt
    Attach.txt

Save two logs onto your desktop and upload them with your reply

    Hi,

    Image path = C:\windows\SysWOW64\svchost.exe

It is listed as ezDRMClient.exe DRM services,
it comes and goes whenever and I am sure it is the cause of the internet failing.

    Remove these two programs

    Uninstall Software

    Code:
    DAEMON Tools Lite
    Spybot - Search & Destroy
They're problematic software. DTL is known to cause BSODs and Spybot does more harm to your PC then fix issues on your PC.

I have asked someone to help you remove a virus on your PC.

You're not on a domain are you?

The IP address I see is a domain IP address .

    jonesnewton,

Have no clue what happened to the topic. Was trying to post to it, and it vanished!

This is not the System Security forum, but, let's press on...

    Please download RogueKiller:
    Tlcharger RogueKiller (Site Officiel)

When you get to the website, go to where it says:
    (Download link) Lien de téléchargement:
Select the version for your system: 64-bit
Click the applicable dark-blue button to download.
    Save to the Desktop.

    Close all windows and browsers.

Right-click and select: Run as Administrator

At the program console, wait for the prescan to finish. (Under Status, it says: Prescan finished.)

    Press: SCAN

When done, a report opens on the Desktop: RKreport.txt

Please provide the RKreport.txt (Mode: Scan) in your reply.
(Do not take action to fix anything, please!!)

Next, please download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
    Select the 64-bit version.

    Save it to your Desktop.
    • Double-click the downloaded file to run it.
    • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press the Scan button.
    • FRST64 makes a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory from which the tool is run (Desktop).
Please provide the FRST.txt in your reply. <<---

The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log: Addition.txt
Also post the Addition.txt in your reply. <<---
