    I have two laptops and one of them the wifi card does not work


    Hi everyone, I have two laptops and one of them the WiFi card dose not work, and i like to go on the internet in my room, is there a way to get WiFi sent to my laptop that dose not have WiFi like would i us a cross over cable, my laptop goes on the net only hard wired from the modem in my living room. They both have windows 7, please help me, i know there's a way i just don't know how to do that. thanks.:)

    Have you tried troubleshooting the wifi card? Could be drivers or software causing a conflict.

    Things you could obtain, a USB wifi card, modem to split the network, new wifi card.

    I've never tried this before but you could try sharing your network. This thread may be of some use. Else google 'laptop share network'.

    When I put the WiFi card back in windows will not load, and this just happen to my laptop when i updated the bios, and way i updated the bios is because Compaq presario cq56 told me to so i did, i wish i have not updated it so that's way it dose not work now. I will look in to the WiFi card but I do not have a place to put it but in side the computer, that's the one that dose not work.
